Terms and conditions

DEFINITIONS

Seller- The legal entity Treav’s Excape 
Buyer- The person who buys the goods 
Goods- The items to be supplied by the seller to the buyer as listed in invoice 

GENERAL 

Acceptance of terms and conditions must be verified with buyers signature. By ordering from Treav’s Excape you agree to be legally bound by these terms and conditions and accept that these conditions may be modified from time to time and be reposted. 

Please disclose any food allergies before confirming your cake orders. All of our products contains egg, wheat, gluten and dairy products and may have come contact with all other allergens.

PAYMENTS AND DEPOSITS 

We require a 50% non-refundable payment to confirm all orders minimum of 2 weeks before due date. The remaining 50% is due 1 week before due date, at which point all changes must be confirmed ( changes to the previously agreed design may incur extra fees). Orders placed less than 2 weeks in advance must be paid in full. Failure to make agreed payments may result in your cake order being cancelled. Deposits are non-refundable.

WEDDING CAKES CONSULTATION

Consultations are not applicable to all orders and are by appointments only. All consultations must be agreed on in writing by Treav’s Excape and consultations fee must be paid prior to consultation. If a physical consultation is not possible a cake taster box can be posted to client and a zoom discussion to move forward with cake order.  

PRICE QUOTATIONS

All price quotations, written or verbal, are valid for 30 days from the date of quotation. 

CANCELLATIONS AND ALTERATIONS

If you have any queries or need to make any changes to an order please contact us immediately. Accepting any alterations is at the discretion of the seller. We cannot refund any of the cost of any cake orders cancelled with less than 3 days notice. Orders paid in full and are cancelled with more than 5 days notice will receive a partial refund of 50% of the total amount paid. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel your order for any reason, then we will give you as much notice as possible and try to agree on a suitable alternative. If we cannot come to an agreement, then a full refund will be made by the seller to the buyer. 

DAMAGES

In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged, it is the customers responsibility to report damage to us within 24hours and send photographic evidence if you wish to claim a refund or replacement. Damaged goods will not be accepted by the seller once collected or delivered in perfect condition. The seller accepts no liability for cakes that are damaged after they have been delivered to agreed location in perfect condition. For cakes delivered to venues or collected from our location, the seller requires a signed delivery (collection) note by the person in charge to say that cake has arrived (accepted) in perfect condition. Damages after this point are not Treav’s Excape responsibility, however assistance to repair damages will be provided depending on our availability. 

STORAGE AND TRANSPORT

Information leaflet will be provided with cake and verbal advice will be given by one of our representatives.
